A new day opportunities service for young adults with learning difficulties in Belfast

Inspired

By a belief that those with intellectual disabilities are indispensable to our community.

An awareness of the lack of opportunity for Young Adults with SLD after they leave school.

A passion to see the meaningful inclusion and the holistic development of young people with SLD.

Our Values

Trust

We will be transparent in all we do and seek to build positive relationships not only with participants but also their family.

Integrity

All we do will be to the best possible standard and in the interest of participants and their families.

Participant Focused

Our service has an individualistic approach as activities, programmes and schedules are catered to our participants’ interests and needs.

We are making a house a home.

A Large Multifunctional Room for training, work and a range of recreational activities.

A Sensory Garden providing a quiet outdoor space for participants as well as developing horticulture skills.

A Studio to provide music and multimedia training, as well as giving participants opportunity to creatively express themselves.

Kitchen & Dining Space to develop independent living and cooking skills.
